Multilingual Matters Team

A Magical Weekend in Prague

Between July 6-8 a group of our team –Alexandra, Alicija, Elena, Kati, Lysanne, Maria Teresa with Roberto and Bea (her partner and daughter), Markéta with Ludek and our very special friends Aharon and Saraj spent a wonderful weekend in Prague. (Frida planned to come, but finally could unfortunately not join us.)

Our stay in the beautiful Kapucinat monastery on top of Prague with simple clean affordable accomodation was prepared and organised by Markéta and Ludek – huge thanks to them for being our wonderful hosts and guides! The monastery has beautiful large well kept gardens where we spent most of our time – sharing, discussing, playing and secretly watching the meditating and cycling (!) monks in the neighbouring garden.

We had long walks – even one guided walk through mystical Prague and a visit to the treasures of Loreta – good lunches and dinners together with good food and tasty beer. The whole weekend flowed naturally and seemlessly with some agreed structure and much freedom to listen to the group wisdom of what wanted to emerge in our common space. So beside discussing ‘business’, we had the opportunity to sing with Aharon, play with Roberto, explore Rosy’s Wisdom keeper cards, Alexandra’s hand made jewelry and Maria Teresa’s Life Alignment method.

We had some fruitful discussions on translation, publishing and community matters, lots of personal sharings and intimate talks while eating walking or just sitting together. We had an hour long Zoom talk with Richard, where we talked about our experience together and he shared his plans and visions. One of the ideas that emerged was to hold a similar meeting of translators and international supporters of the Gene Keys maybe on a larger scale , maybe next summer, maybe in Prague, where he, Richard, would also participate – something to start planning and dreaming about!?

Among the multilingual matters issues we discussed the situation of the Gene Keyscommunity in each represented country: Czechia, Romania, Russia, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and Hungary. We talked about the possibilities to publish GeneKeys books in mother languages in e-book format, the translation of the different layers of the Hologenetic Profile and the Ambassador program.

This is just a brief subjective summary of a weekend that felt like a gathering of a Soul family… to be continued…
